Day 3

I just tried a winter swim. Well, to be honest, not really a swim, more like a second in the water. I watched YouTube with Wim Hof, the Ice Man, read parts of the book Winter Swimming written by Suzanna Sorberg. By it doesn’t prepare you of the sensation when your in the water, I felt an electric jolt in the body. A good friend of mine said it’s good for your body and soul.  It’s part of the process of acclimating to the cold and can actually have several health benefits, such as improved circulation, increased endorphin levels, and enhanced mental resilience. Right, we will see ..

I have time to practice. Who knows, I might swim around the island soon.
